Hey,

Sunday was the season premiere of Mad Men. A few bodies came over to watch. I decided to make a simple summer Cocktail. An Arnold Palmer if you will.

Just add 1 container Lemonade. 1 bottle Sweet Tea Vodka and some sliced Lemon in your favorite pitcher and enjoy over rocks.

But be careful because this is drink is strong. So don't drive home unless you are really good at drinking and driving (like all my friends are).

Also, I made General Tso's with Tofu for Lunch. It turned out pretty good.

Whipped up a quick plate before work.

Veggie Burger on Toasted Wheat, Ridge Cut Potato Chips and a Salad of Spinach, Mixed Greens, Mini Heirlooms, Artichoke Hearts and Balsamic Dressing.

And to wash it all down. A tall glass of Ice Water. We just got a new Brita filter. Damn, that's some good water.

Slow night at work.

My dinner:

The Friday Special. Grilled 3 Cheese with Bacon. In my case Veggie Bacon and a side of Sauteed Spinach.

At least part of my shift was good.

Made myself some fairly tasty lunch. Homemade Fried Rice with Tomato, Jalapenos and Chix Patty.

I'm super broke right now so get ready for more at home creations.

Unless, someone wants to start taking me out to eat. Not like a date or anything. Well it could be. Just don't tell my lady.

Has anyone been to that Mexican place on the Eastside? You know the one with the Tacos?

I have lived in LA for over 3 years and I'm still finding new places all the time. Yesterday, Becky and I went to Tarascos Mexican Restaurant. This off Sunset eatery has an awesome shaded outdoor area that goes perfectly with some fresh bites.

Veggie Taco.

Shrimp Tacos.

Nachos.

Overall, pretty good stuff. The Tacos were tasty and the Nachos were exactly what I wanted. Go on Tues for $1 Tacos. You're welcome.

Hey,

Now that the World Cup is over, my world can go back to normal. No more waking up for 7 am games, drinking all morning, sleeping the days away. Well hopefully there will still be a little bit of early drinking and excessive napping.

This weekend was full of events. On sat, Becky and I went to a little birthday soirée. Good times complete with Champagne fountain and Cucumber Sandwiches. Very classy.

Also, a cute dog named Pablo.

Sunday. Woke up early, got a dozen from Brooklyn Bagels and did some pre-game brunching.

Then we were off to the Gold Room for Beers, Shots, and screaming during the WC finals.
