I just found out that all my stocks are worthless and that I am steps away from selling parts of my body for rent money. Needless to say, I will not be eating out as much as normal. Do not despair, because I plan to step up my efforts at home.
Stay tuned for reviews of the sandwich I make for lunch and posts about thrifty shopping at Trader Joe's.

people i know in LA are all working at comcast. they apparently have a ton of open positions everywhere. look into it, boss.
thanks for the tip...
Try shopping at the 99 Cents Only store - especially the one on La Brea and Santa Monica. I've been floored by their selection of food. Huge red bell peppers, three for a dollar. Avocados, white asparagus, squash, cantalopes, etc. etc. I always feel like I've walked out of there with too much stuff, but I've never paid more than $10.
how do dollar stores have all that fancy food in CA? all our dollar stores have are weird off-market condensed soups and dorito flavors i've never heard of like Wild Aspirin and Cranberry-blasted.
I think it's the single bit of justice we get in return for spending $10 on sandwiches and $1k on rent.
